From Rubens to the Rubens Prize
Guided tour with the Siegerlandmuseum
What links the 17th century paintings of Peter Paul Rubens with contemporary artists? To whom is the Rubens Prize awarded and why does it bear this name? What is European about it? And what connects the Siegerland Museum with the Museum of Contemporary Art?
This combined tour brings the two museums together - from the Upper to the Lower Castle.
Directors Dr Karin Kolb and Thomas Thiel kick off the tour. Together with visitors, they will embark on a journey of discovery to Siegen's artistic highlights.
Another combined tour will take place on 24 March.
The meeting point is the Siegerlandmuseum.
The guided tour is included in the combined ticket (€7.50 regular; €5.30 reduced and €13.60 for families).
