Coming soon! On 21.05.2023 this year's Siegen Art Day will take place with the motto "KUNSTgriff". Also, the International Museum Day coincides with this day. For this occasion, the MGKSiegen has free admission all day and offers a varied program for everyone interested. In addition to the current exhibitions and the regular guided tour on "Laurenz Berges, Halten und Schwinden", there will be guided tours with the art ambassadors at 2 pm. At the end of the day, Joachim Weiß and guest musician Kristoff Becker from Berlin will give a concert in the museum.

The Siegen KUNSTtag is a project with many participants from the art and cultural landscape of Siegen and takes place once a year at the beginning of May. The entire program and current information can be found on the website of the KUNSTtag.

This year eight different groups and institutions participate with their own stations. In addition to MGKSiegen, group 3/55, Siegerlandmuseum, KuKu, Kunstverein Siegen, JungesTheaterSiegen, student initiative KunstWertSchätzen and Young Circle of Friends Siegen are participating.
