Art and Cinema
As part of the Circle of Friends' Change of Perspective series, next Thursday's event will be "Art and Cinema, Rubens Prize Winners in Film" No. 1: Hans Hartung, Rubens Prize Winner 1957. This first event will focus on the German-French painter and graphic artist Hans Hartung, who is now represented in the museum's collection with over 15 works and was awarded the first Rubens Prize by the city of Siegen in 1957.
First, Ute Knyhala-Schmidt will introduce the works in the collection, then we will watch the film in a cosy atmosphere and talk about it.
