The MGKSiegen opened in 2001, 22 years ago. How did it come about in the first place? Who initiated and founded it? What was the role of the city of Siegen, the district of Siegen - Wittgenstein, the Landschaftsverband Westfalen - Lippe and the then state government of North Rhine-Westphalia? How is the financing going? Which pictures and installations made the start? Who performed which functions?
Many questions - and the answers are given on 27 April. Winfried Schwarz, among other things a member of the Board of Trustees of the Peter Paul Rubens Foundation, will report on how it all began in a change of perspective by the Friends of the MGKSiegen.
