Philipp Timischl, I love my brain and thinking and always having thoughts

Conversation with the artist and director Thomas Thiel on the new MGKWalls.

Timischl's work for MGKSiegen creates an interface between interior and exterior space, medial and spatial experience. It consists of a large-scale wall drawing in airbrush technique and specially produced videos of count downs as well as popular video material from the Internet. Both walls create a moment of deceleration, of waiting, but also of funny surprise. In conversation with Thomas Thiel, director and curator of the exhibition, Timischl explores questions about the experience of art and the associated expectations of the audience.
